Currently we have several vacant region and program region director positions that need passionate leaders to fill them. All vacant positions are filled by the Board of Directors for the unfulfilled term. All terms end on June 30 of the end year listed. All Board Members Required To:
be a member in good standing with a local PTA.
sign a letter of conduct.
prepare articles within the scope of their position for the Illinois PTA newsletters and social media.
prepare timely and informative workshops for the Illinois PTA Convention.
serve on state committees and convention committees as assigned by the president.
attend meetings of the state board of directors held for 4 times per year for 1-2 days. These includes Pre-Convention board meeting, Post-Convention board meeting.
attend an orientation meeting held prior to August 1 each year.

All Board Members Are Required To:

be a member in good standing with a local PTA.
sign the ILLINOIS PTA STATE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STATE BOARD MEMBERS
serve on state committees and convention committees as assigned by the president.
attend meetings of the state board of directors held 4 times per year for 1-2 days. These include pre-convention board meeting and post-convention board meeting.
attend an orientation meeting held prior to August 1 each year.
